Interior Design: Geometric Style
Geometry is cool! We bet you never knew!
Well it is! Over the last few years, traditional rounded shapes have given way to corners, straight lines and geometric compositions.
Rooms are becoming more and more essential, with a clear taste for minimalism removing clutter to create impressive and rigorous interiors. Various colours are associated with this style: pastel shades and neutral colours like black and white appear alongside small, decorative elements in brighter colours.
In some ways the new look harks back to the 1940s with its emphasis on hexagonal shapes in all varieties and colours.
A good example is Grestec Tile‘s EQUILATERO floor tile, which blends elements of the past with modern if not futuristic technology.
The result is a home environment in which essential design and cold, clear lines combine to create a wonderfully magnetic look.
